A son of Ogrion des Champs out of a dam by Qredo de Paulstra - Fondan is an exciting young stallion for breeders as one of only a few approved sons of the now deceased Ogrion des Champs. Ogrion was himself a son of the famous Kannan and his career was cut short due to injury. Now he is highly regarded as a breeding stallion known for passing on his natural power, strong back and unbelievable respect for the fences - all of
which Fondan has in abundance.
HIS PEDIGREE
In addition, Fondan de Caverie was bred out of a brilliant damline as well. Dam Raisa de Caverie produced the successful 1.50m showjumper Bijou de Caverie and is the half-sister to Grand Prix showjumper Pegase de Caverie.
Furthermore, Fondan de Caverie was bred from the same damline as successful showjumpers Danseur de Caverie, competitor at the WEG in 2002 and Discrete IV. winner of the
Nations Cups of Rotterdam and Lisbon.

HIS CAREER
Following a successful international career in the CSIYH classes, including top placings in the 7yrs Grand Prix of Knokke and Oliva - Fondan stepped up to the big sport in 2023.
So far in his 8yo year, he has jumped clear rounds at 1.40- 1.45m level in Vejer de la Frontera and Chepstow in the 8yrs finals.
He is proving to be a very exciting horse for the future, with an abundance of scope, power and stride. Nothing seems to stand in Fondan's way to make it to the very top of the sport.
